Topic:               Disruption in the Profession - How can CPAs adapt for the future?

CPA members have been experiencing a rapidly changing environment. Members must embrace change or risk falling behind, losing relevance or being replaced.

The drivers of change – technology; geopolitical instability; changing societal perceptions; environmental and economic issues – will all impact the accounting profession and business practice.

We invite members to come and share the changes they are experiencing and hear the insight our panelists offer on the change they have been experiencing and see how it is impacting members in their respective roles.

The session qualifies as 1 hour of verifiable/free CPD.

CPAPEI is entering its fifth year as a new profession. We have moved through the final phases of transition and are focused on the future. It is the Board’s goal to have the makeup of the Board accurately reflect the membership. If you are interested in being elected to the Board, please complete the form Nomination and Declaration - Board of Directors, provide a current 1-page CV, and a head-and-shoulders photograph. All or a portion of the member’s CV will be posted to our website and/or edited for consistency and tone to provide membership with adequate information prior to the Annual Meeting.
